Weekend one

So in Ohio we have had a lot of rain the last few days which as you all know makes it hard to go out and take pictures (I don’t like to get wet). However, I did get out and take this.

Day 5 Solitude

As I looked around trying to find a picture for this I looked behind me and saw this…

  
Sit on my front porch when I have a minute and this reminds me to be thankful for the men and women that fight for my freedom everyday. It reminds me to be thankful that I can sit on the porch and fly my flag.

The wind blowing reminds me of the breath that each one takes sonI can live in a place that I am free to think and share my thoughts with people.

This picture also reminds me of a happy place. Basketball goal to remind me of my youth….an old Dodge truck that reminds me of my 20’s. Life was simpler then.

Day Four: Bliss 

The definition we were given is:

Bliss: complete happiness, great joy, paradise, or heaven.

There are many things that make me blissful, my family, my dogs, my camera, a babies laugh, and the ocean to name a few. 

I love Mr Potato Head and I do a blog with him a few times a month.

Photo 101, Day Three: Water & Orientation

Water….to me is life. Our body’s are made up of it. We use it to wash our hands to flush the toilet. We actually need water to live.

With that being said as I was waiting to pick up my wife from work it started to rain.

Just a soft light rain but enough to make people drive differently. Enough to make me stop and listen to the drops hit the roof of my car. Enough to make me become aware of my surroundings.

Rain….Water

   
I took this and focused on the drops and not the hustle and bustle that was going on around meI guess I really needed that few minutes to reground myself today.

Jan is on the way out….

Well the month of January only has about a week left so I thought I would update my life changes.

Last week I am pretty sure I had some of that flu crap that has been going around.  But I will get back in the groove soon!

I got signed up for a web design class that is next week.  Looking forward to getting my photography stuff put on an actual web page.  I even signed up for a digital video class.  I am looking forward to seeing what all I can learn.  They will help me to broadcast my own show.  I have a lot of ideas I just gotta get them all out :0)

I have been drinking a lot more water.  Got signed up for the local gym and have been going 3-5 times a week.  Sure does help get me going in the mornings.  Staying within my calories.  I got a scale.  I am only using it once a week when I measure.  So far 2 pounds gone so we are calling that a win :0)

Been putting together an easy store to sell my cards.  I just gotta get the cards together and a catalog of sorts to keep track of what I have.

I am feeling better and better! life is going well….One day at a time.
